About Our SMS Service

eGREETINGstore.com is a digital greeting card service that delivers personalized greeting cards to recipients. Customers can choose to deliver greetings via email, SMS, or both. SMS delivery is completely optional - customers can complete their purchase using email delivery only. When a customer opts in to SMS delivery, the recipient receives a single SMS notification containing a link to view their digital greeting card.

How We Obtain Consent (Optional Opt-In Workflow)

We do not send unsolicited SMS messages. SMS consent is optional and separate from the purchase process. Customers can complete their purchase without opting in to SMS messaging by choosing email-only delivery. Our consent workflow operates as follows:

Customer Selects a Greeting Card

The customer browses our catalog and selects a digital greeting card to purchase.

Customer Chooses Delivery Method

In the shopping cart, the customer provides the recipient's name and chooses a delivery method. Email delivery is always available. Phone/SMS delivery is optional.

Delivery Options:
A) Email only - No SMS consent required
B) SMS only - Requires SMS consent
C) Both email and SMS - Requires SMS consent for the SMS portion

If and only if the customer provides a phone number, they see an optional consent checkbox:

"I would also like to send an SMS notification to the recipient. By checking this box, you confirm that you have the recipient's permission to send them an SMS message containing a link to view their digital greeting card. This consent is optional - you can complete your purchase without SMS delivery by providing an email address. Message and data rates may apply. To opt out, visit our SMS Consent Policy page."

Purchase Can Complete Without SMS Consent

Customers can complete their purchase without providing SMS consent. They simply provide an email address as the delivery method. SMS consent is never required to complete a purchase.

Single SMS Sent After Payment

Only after payment is confirmed, the recipient receives ONE SMS message with a link to view their digital greeting card. No marketing messages. No follow-up messages.

One (1) message per greeting card. Recipients receive only a single SMS notification per gift purchased for them. No recurring messages. No marketing messages.

Message Purpose

Gift notification only. The SMS informs the recipient that someone has sent them a digital greeting card and provides a unique link to view it.

Note: SMS messages are sent from our verified sender identity "eGreeting". As messages are sent from a named sender rather than a phone number, replies are not possible. Please use the methods above to opt out or contact us.

Message and Data Rates

Standard message and data rates may apply based on the recipient's mobile carrier plan. eGREETINGstore.com is not responsible for any charges incurred by the recipient from their mobile carrier.

Carriers

SMS delivery is supported by major carriers including AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint, and most other US carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

No Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share phone numbers or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Phone numbers are used exclusively for delivering the greeting card notification. See our Privacy Policy for complete details.

TCPA Compliance

Our SMS messaging service is fully compliant with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA). By requiring customers to confirm recipient consent before sending any message, we ensure that no unsolicited messages are sent. Misuse of our service to send messages without proper consent is prohibited and may result in account termination.
